zerocarbonbritain is a report prepared by the Centre for Alternative Technology with the help of others. It details how Britain can eliminate emissions from fossil fuels in 20 years and break our dependence on imported energy. It demonstrates how we can achieve this by halving energy demand and installing massive renewable energy generation. The report can be downloaded and I have copied their short video to this site. I had the pleasure of meeting and hearing a presentation by one of the reports lead authors, Tim Helweg-Larsen, at a meeting of the Claverton Energy Group yesterday. Tim is a director of the Public Interest Research Group.
